The RS Fixed Income Funds allow you to invest in high-grade or high-yield securities, taxable or tax-exempt bonds, and debt obligations of virtually any duration. All of our fixed-income funds are sub-advised by Guardian Investor Services, with the same portfolio managers that manage the general account of the Guardian Life Insurance Company of America.
The portfolio managers use economic, market and company analysis to determine appropriate investments for each Fund. Focused analysis of interest rates, inflation expectations, and relative values across various bond market sectors help the managers select securities and adjust fund portfolios over time. In the high-yield market, fundamental company analysis and continual market monitoring strengthen assessments of what compensation is appropriate at a specified level of risk.
