Dedicated Website Serves Growing Demand for Hard Assets Investment Education

SAN FRANCISCO, July 28, 2010 – RS Investments, a San Francisco-based investment management firm, today announced the launch of a new dedicated website (www.RSinvestments.com/GNR.htm) focused entirely on global natural resources, one of the firm�s major investment specialties.

"We developed the site to serve our clients' growing need for more detailed information about investing in commodities and natural resources equities," said Alasdair Philip, vice president and product manager for RS Global Natural Resources. "The site offers access to information that we believe investors will find useful as they consider their options for allocating to real assets."

The site features a library of research and educational materials, including white papers, investment manager insights, and notes from field research expeditions, as well as detailed information on the investment team, philosophy, portfolio and performance of the RS Global Natural Resources Fund (RSNRX) and related investment strategies. The investment strategy, which RS launched in 1995, focuses on low cost, capital efficient companies that own geologically �advantaged assets.� RS believes that these companies possess unique characteristics that allow them to create long-term value for shareholders independent of fluctuations in commodity prices.
