RS Investments Bolsters Institutional Sales Team

San Francisco, February 20, 2008 - RS Investments (RS), a San Francisco-based investment management firm, announced today the addition of Jared Buell to the firm's Institutional Sales and Service team. Mr. Buell has joined the firm as Vice President of Institutional Sales and Service with responsibility for the 401(k) and sub-advisory channels.

"Jared has a strong background working with the 401(k) and sub-advisory channels and brings added depth and expertise to our existing efforts in these client segments," said David Elliott, head of Institutional Services at RS Investments.

Before joining RS Investments, Mr. Buell was Director of Sub-Advisory and Retirement Sales at Phoenix Investment Partners in Hartford, CT. Prior to that, he was an investment analyst covering the sub-advisory channel at MassMutual Retirement Services in Springfield, MA. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross and is a CFA Charterholder.
